Welcome to Triss Discussion!

Like The Taggerung Discussion, this board is only a temporary one. When Triss is released in paperback next year, all posts will be relocated to Books and the board will house discussion for Brian's next Redwall book.

Until then, this provides a place to discuss Triss without worrying about spoiling the book for others.

As long as this board exists, absolutely no spoilers may be posted in Books! That forum is to remain "spoiler-free".

As you probably have guessed, I finshed reading Triss a while ago. It was very good, and felt a bit different than other redwall books. I was just a little dissapointed with the main villians , (theres are other villians in there ) but the rest of the story made up for that. I found a lot of the charcaters to be very comical, I won't tell you who though.

Can't think of anymore...I don't think anyone else on this board has read it yet.

Is there anything esle anyone wants to know?

Are the Germen accent users vermin or goodbeasts? Would you compare it more to MoR or Taggerung?

The german accents belong to the vermin. I guess triss was a bit like MoR. The last word of the book is "invitation."

Invitation? That sounds like a word for the middle of a sentence.

Is there a big final battle like MoR, or somewhat of a dud like Taggerung?

And why is Tag a dud just beacsue it didn't have a huge battle in it? At least it was a bit different from the others..well thats just my opinion.

Well I didn't mean that the ending was bad or anti-climatic. (I liked the ending too, very unique) I just was wondering if there was a final battle, unlike Tagg. I just had a bad choice of words at the time.
